Holiday Gift Spotlight: aden + anais bamboo sleeping bag

I received a sample to facilitate this review. Opinions expressed are my own.

SleepSack Affordable luxury. That’s what I consider aden + anais. Founded by mom Raegan Moya-Jones, aden + anais was the result of a missing need for mothers in the U.S. After moving from Australia and scouring U.S. stores for the soft, breathable wraps used by mothers everywhere in Australia, Raegan came up empty-handed. In 2006, the need was met and aden + anais was born.

One of the first baby gifts we received was a pack of muslin blankets in adorable prints. Bear never liked being swaddled, so these breathable blankets were perfect to drape over her while nursing. They’ve now carried us into the second year and we use them for playtime and cuddle time. Even though Bear is now 15 months and, according to the doctor, is allowed to sleep with a light blanket, we still don’t feel comfortable doing so (and she doesn’t understand a blanket, so she just flings it off of her). I was thrilled to discover the sleeping bags are available in the light muslin fabric from aden + anais.

I like the basic muslin fabric, but I LOVE the silky rayon muslin from bamboo fiber they also offer. While it is designed to be worn over pajamas, I have a sweaty little girl on my hands, so we opt for just a onesie and socks under the sleeping bag.

Available in three sizes (small, medium, or large), the tranquility – leafy bamboo sleeping bag makes a great gift for newborns or toddlers. And at just $37, this pre-washed sleeping bag that zips from the bottom for easy nighttime changes is affordable luxury for littles.
